Annie’s Hometown Restaurant opens for business

The Hometown Restaurant in Reynoldsville closed earlier this month and opened on March 26 with a new name and new owners.

Annie’s Hometown Restaurant, as it is now known,  is owned by Anna and Brian Miller who live in Winslow Township near Reynoldsville.

Anna Miller said the opening was wonderful.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better first day,” she said.

The look of the restaurant has changed. The historic photos have been returned to the Reynoldsville Historical Society. The new decor is more of an “old country look” as Miller described it.

One of the items on display from the old Genevro’s Restaurant.

Part of that look are items from her family’s old restaurant, Genevro’s in Crenshaw near Brockway.

The hours are the same are the same as the old restaurant, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, but the phone number has changed to 612-2322.
