Grants available for Jefferson County small businesses

The Jefferson County Department of Development has announced the opening of the Small Business Economic Recovery Grant program.

Funding through the program must be used for low/moderate job creation and/or retention.

At this time, the maximum grant amount is $5,000 and the county anticipates helping 27 small businesses on a “first come, first served” basis. Business that have not received any economic recovery assistance as a result of the pandemic will receive priority.

The deadline to apply with accompanying documentation is February 28, 2021.
