Jefferson County man sentenced in connection with missing Reynoldsville American Legion funds

A Jefferson County man was sentenced this week in county court for a case involving missing funds from the Reynoldsville American Legion.

According to the documents obtained by reynlownews.com, Thomas G. Weaver of Hill Street in Sykesville pleaded guilty to a charge of theft by deception-false impression on October 2 before Jefferson County Judge John Foradora. He was sentenced to two years probation and must pay restitution. Two others charges were dropped.
