Stay-at-home order extended to May 8

Governor Tom Wolf announced today that the stay-at-home order will remain in effect until May 8, but he is hopeful that restrictions can then begin to ease.

The announcement came as protests against the lock down had gathered outside the capitol building in Harrisburg.

The total number of cases in the state has increased to 33,232. In our area, Jefferson County now has 3, increasing by one from yesterday. Clearfield County has 11 cases. Elk County remains at 2. Indiana County has 53 and four deaths. Clarion County has 18 cases and one death.

The statistics are updated daily on the PA Department of Health website.
