Winslow Township Supervisors find, fix water leak problem in the Soldier Water System
The Winslow Township Supervisors met on May 9 and got some good news on a water leak problem.
At it’s April meeting, the supervisors discussed the possibility of a water leak in the Soldier Water System. Since no individual bill was unusual, they believed the leak was somewhere on the line coming from Sykesville.
At this meeting, according to township secretary Mary Greeley, the leak was discovered in the line along the Reynoldsville-Sykesville Road on the Sykesville side and was repaired.
In other action, the supervisors announced that the plans for the township building addition will be advertised for bids once those plans are received by the township office.
