2020 Red, White and Blueberry Festival, Paul Butler Football Camp canceled

With great reluctance, the Reynoldsville Community Association has announced that it is canceling the 2020 Red, White, and Blueberry Festival scheduled for July 10 and 11 due to uncertainty about COVID-19.

“There’s a lot that goes into planning an annual festival, a lot that has to be done early,” said festival chairman Sam Bundy. “There were just too many unknowns for us to lock down everything we needed in time fore the July event,” he added.

Jacob d’Argy of the Snyder-d’Argy Funeral Home in Reynoldsville was set to host an outdoor movie the evening of July 10, but that has been postponed, not canceled.

“When I asked him (d’Argy) if he would host a movie later in the summer, he replied ‘of course,’” Bundy said.

Word has also been received that the Paul Butler Football Camp slated for July 11 has also been canceled due to the current situation
