Jefferson County COVID-19 cases increase again by two

The PA department of Health announced today (June 3) that the total number of COVID-19 cases in Jefferson County has increased by 2 since yesterday’s count of 12 to stand at 14. In about a week, the case number in the county has increased by 7 new cases. The 15851 postal code also shows a total of 7, up from 5 in yesterday’s report.

There have been 551 been negative test in the county since the testing began in March.

Statewide, the number grew to 72,894 total cases since the pandemic was discovered in the Commonwealth. There is a 67% recovery rate from the virus statewide.
