PennDOT announces ramp closures for September 16-18 on I-80

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing an upcoming ramp closure as part of the resurfacing project on I-80 in Jefferson County.

For this weekend’s closure, Exit 73: Corsica Westbound on and off ramps will be closing at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022.  Ramps will reopen by 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Westbound traffic needing to exit at Corsica should take Exit 78:  Brookville to State Route 36 South then State Route 322 West to Corsica.  Traffic needing to enter I-80 at Corsica to travel Westbound should take State Route 322 West towards Strattanville and enter I-80 Westbound at Exit 70:  Strattanville.

Contractor, IA Construction Co. Inc. of Franklin, PA is completing this $17 million project which is anticipated to be completed in Fall 2022.

This closure will be weather permitting.
