Cat causes crash in Falls Creek

A Reynoldsville man escaped injury in an accident in Falls Creek shortly before 4 p.m. on September 11.

State Police say 65-year-old Henry Deible was traveling north on Main Street in Falls Creek when a cat came onto the roadway from the left side. Deible swerved to avoid the cat. His vehicle went off the road, struck a utility pole, small trees, and an embankment before stopping.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Falls Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Penelec, and Zimmerman Towing.
