Dogs dumped near Hormtown

State Police are investigating a cruelty to animals incident that occurred along Hormtown Road near Route 322 west of Reynoldsville on April 24.

Police say an unknown individual drove to the location, stopped, and threw two dogs out of the vehicle before fleeing towards Reynoldsville. The vehicle was blue in color Dodge RAM pickup with a work rack on the bed.

The dogs were taken to the Gateway Humane Society near Falls Creek.
