Hometown Restaurant closing; new one to take its place

In a post on Facebook yesterday, the owners of the Hometown Restaurant announced they would be closing on March 16. It will reopen as Annie’s Hometown Restaurant on Tuesday, March 26.

In the post, Laurie Maicki thanked her regular customers , calling them family, and “some of the best customers anyone could ever have.” She also thanked her workers over the 13 years the Hometown was open.

This is a developing story and more information will be posted as it becomes available.

Hey can anyone find out where the photos will go? Specifically interested in the preservation of Reynoldsville HS Class Annuals. I know my dad was the keeper of the Class of 1948 when he intrusted its safe keeping to the Hometown Restaurant. These photos are a treasure to the town and I hope they will continue to be displayed in the new establishment.
