PennDOT announces plans display for the I-80 Brookville East Reconstruction Project in Jefferson County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is holding a Public Plans Display Meeting in open-house format for the I-80 Brookville East Reconstruction project in Brookville Borough, Pine Creek Township and Rose Township, Jefferson County.

The in-person meeting will be held at the Hickory Grove Elementary School, 104 Jenks Street in Brookville on March 21, 2023.  The public is invited to attend 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

The purpose of the plans display is to present the proposed plans for the I-80 Brookville East Reconstruction project. The scope of work for this project is the reconstruction of I-80 eastbound and westbound including removal of existing bituminous and concrete, subgrade, subbase, concrete pavement, drainage, and guide rail from Brookville (Exit 78) to Reynoldsville (Exit 86).

PennDOT representatives along with design consultants will be available to answer questions.  Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area, or comments on potential impacts to historic resources should attend this meeting.
