Point View Bridge to remain closed for a couple of weeks
The reopening of the Point View Bridge in Reynoldsville has been delayed.
Jefferson County Commissioner Jeff Pisarcik has confirmed that more work needs to be done on the bridge surface and on the guide rails.
“What we [the commissioners] heard as of the 10th was they were hoping to have the work completed over the next two weeks,” he said.
The county, which owns and maintains the bridge, closed it in late June for deck resurfacing and other repairs.
