Race for Reynoldsville t-shirts presented

Two students from the C.G. Johnson Elementary School were presented with a Race for Reynoldsville t-shirt bearing the designs they drew as part of a contest at the school.

Seven-year-old Kenzi Rikert Overholser, first grade, and ten-year-old Jordan Bowser, fourth grade, received their t-shirts from race organizer Leanne Buhite-Waring before the Reynoldsville Community Association meeting held March 12.

The race benefits the proposed Veteran’s Memorial Park and the Reynoldsville Pool, so representatives from those organizations were on hand to congratulate the artists.

The Race for Reynoldsville will be held on Memorial Day, May 25.
