RCA partners with war memorial efforts

Members of the Reynoldsville Community Association voted recently to provide their full support for efforts to locate a war memorial park in the downtown.

“We are excited about the park and will do anything we can to make it happen,”  Sarah Caltagarone, president of the RCA, said later.

The RCA is a 501C3 non-profit organization and will partner with the Reynoldsville War Memorial Committee to make all donations tax deductible.

The memorial committee is in the process of negotiating for property adjacent to the Uni-Mart convenience store. If that transaction is made, it plans to launch its fundraising effort. The committee set a goal of $300,000.00
