State Police file a report on an accident that knocked out power in Reynoldsville
Officers from the DuBois barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police have filed police reports on incidents in the Reynoldsville area the past few days, including an accident that caused a power outage on October 28,
According to police, a pick up truck driven by Arthur H. Null of DuBois was traveling on North Fourth Street in Reynoldsville near the intersection with Mable Street when the vehicle drifted off the east side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. The pole was knocked to its side causing power lines to lay on the roadway and knocking out power to areas of the borough.
Police say Null suffered a suspected minor injury and was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois by the Reynoldsville Ambulance Service. Police also report that alcohol and distracted driving were suspected causes of the crash,
Police were also assisted by DuBois EMS, Reynoldsville Fire Department, Zimmerman Towing and Penelec.
Indecent assault
State Police are also investigating an alleged indecent assault that occurred sometime between October 24 and October 26 on East Main Street in Reynoldsville. The victim is a 26 year old woman from DuBois.
Police say the investigation is ongoing at this time.
