XHL tourney raises money for local girl fighting cancer

The annual XHL Randy Carlson Memorial Tournament was held at the Reynoldsville Rollerdrome on January 25. Sixteen roller hockey teams from across the area competed for the title.

The event is held each year to benefit a local person who is fighting cancer in memory of XHL player Randy Carlson who lost his battle with cancer.

This year the event will benefit 17-year-old Daisy Romano of DuBois who was diagnosed with stage-3B ovarian cancer in June of last year.

The tourney raised $3500.00.
