Ag Lab visits CG Johnson Elementary School in Reynoldsville

Students show off the insects they created.

The Mobile Ag Ed Science Lab paid a visit to the CG Johnson Elementary School the week of March 13.

Lab Educator Carol Bernat said the purpose of the lab is to teach students science lessons that are related to agriculture since it is the number one industry in the state. She said the students are enjoying the hands on lab.

“They love it. They don’t even know they’re learning something,” she said.

The lab is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and the Pennsylvania Friends of Agriculture Foundation. Bernat said there are six mobile labs in the state. This visit was sponsored by the CG Johnson Parent-Teacher Organization.
