Reyn-Sykes Girl Scouts announce upcoming events
Powder Puff Derby
The Reynoldsville-Sykesville Girl Scouts will be hosting their Annual Powder Puff Derby this month. Last year we had to cancel the event due to COVID 19. This year the Derby will be spread out over three nights. The event will be held at the Reynoldsville Presbyterian Church at 6:00 each night.
April 13 Cadettes (grade 6, 7, and 8)
April 14 Brownies (grade 2 and 3)
April 15 Daisies (K and 1 grade)
Launch into Girl Scouts
Whether you want to learn more about Girl Scouts, register your daughter for an in-person or virtual troop, become a volunteer, or all three, we’ll be on hand to answer questions and help you get started. Experience the fun and friendship of Girl Scouts at our free, in-person sign-up. “Launch into Girl Scouts” Sunday, April 25th1:30 to 3:00 Stahl Park Pavilion in Sykesville. Each participant will make a rocket to take home with them.
Bridging Ceremony
Reynoldsville-Sykesville Bridging Ceremony Monday, April 26 6:45 Reynoldsville Presbyterian Church. Bridging is a beloved Girl Scout tradition that honors girls’ achievements throughout the year and celebrates their “crossing the bridge” to the next Girl Scout level.
