A fire broke out earlier today (July 15) at Watt Logging (behind Fremer Lumber) in Snyder Township near Brockway. Reports from the scene indicated the metal building housing a saw and a debarker was destroyed, but the fire was contained there. There were no injuries. A lightning strike caused a fire at a home near Wishaw in Winslow Township on July 5. The home, owned and occupied by John and Sue Horner, suffered damage to the roof, attic and second floor bedroom.
