Matusky named Citizen of the Month

At its regular meeting on June 22, the Reynoldsville Borough Council presented its Citizen of the Month Award for May to Jack Matusky of Jackson Street in the borough.

Matusky has been involved with Reynoldsville for many years. He’s served on the Reynoldsville Recreation Committee for the past 25 years helping to operate the Reynoldsville Pool. He also runs the Reynoldsville Cemetery and served on the borough council for 14 years.

In receiving the award from council president Bill Cebulskie, Matusky said, “Thank you. I’m humbled by this.” He added, “ Volunteering is a great experience. I recommend it to anybody.”
