Reynoldsville council seeking a new member
Reynoldsville Borough Council is once again looking for a new member.
At the August 17 meeting, Council President William Cebulskie read the resignation letter from his son and council member William Cebulskie II, who cited increased work demands from the pandemic and increased education demands from pursuing his career as a physician. He’s held the position since January of 2017.
In the letter, Cebulskie thanked the residents of the borough for the opportunity to serve on council. He also said he would continue to serve Reynoldsville as a volunteer with the ambulance service.
“This is a great community with great people who have a great passion for their town. I cannot wait to return after I finish my education,” Cebulskie stated in the letter.
Borough council is now asking for submission letters from those borough residents who would like to serve on council.
On June 15, former council member Robin McMillan was replaced by Max Smith.
