Work on the Route 28/322 intersection near Brookville to start next week

PennDOT has announced the long-awaited project at the intersection of Routes 28 and 322 near Brookville will start Tuesday, May 28, and last until October of 2021.

Construction will start at US 322 at Pride Street and continue to US 322 at Pine Creek Township Fire Hall, then to the SR 28/US 322 intersection. Work to take place in 2019 through 2020 includes demolition of the roadway for reconstruction and utility relocation. Work in 2021 will culminate with construction of the new roadway.
