Brown named Citizen of the Month

One Stop Convenience Store owner Jim Brown of DuBois was named the June Reynoldsville Citizen of the Month at the June 15 Reynoldsville Borough Council meeting.

In his remarks during the presentation, Council President William Cebulskie praised Brown for his commitment to the borough, especially after a fire in January of 2019 destroyed the store.

“He stuck with us, and I commend him for that,” Cebulksie said.

In his remarks, Brown praised the help he received from the council, borough workers, fire department, and residents after the fire and during the rebuild..

“It’s just a wonderful community,” he said.

Brown also praised his staff for their dedication.

“I got a great management crew and they love everybody in town,” he said.
