Winslow Township Supervisors meet

The Winslow Township Supervisors held their regular meeting on June 14 and discussed the Dollar General project along Prescottville Road at the intersection with Route 322.

The township received a request from Dollar General for permission to construct a small flow sewage treatment plant on the site. After a brief discussion, the supervisors decided to send the agreement to the township solicitors for their review before signing.

“We don’t want to stop it, but we want to make sure it’s right,” Supervisor Robert Krajewski said.

The board approved a motion to authorize the signing of the agreement after the solicitor’s review and not wait until the July meeting to avoid any further delay.

No time line for the actual project was discussed.
