Water shut offs to resume July 5 in Reynoldsville
The Reynoldsville Water and Sewer Authority met on June 24 and made a decision concerning delinquent bills.
There had been a moratorium on shutting off water due to the pandemic, but that has been lifted. The authority will start shutting off water for those who are behind three months or more on their bills starting July 5.
The authority has been struggling with a sewer sludge problem in recent months. The levels have been processed down to acceptable levels and a representative from the company that manufactures the malfunctioning equipment will be visiting the site next week.
In other action, the authority voted to advertise for bids for emergency repair services. A copy of the that advertisement can be seen below.
